Marilyn Wilson
Marilyn
Wilson has had a career of successes serving the needs of the end
user to create winning products and services for some of the world’s
most highly respected brands. She brings a depth of knowledge and
fresh thinking about how to solve fundamental problems for consumers
to achieve growth in the real estate industry.
Marilyn was VP Global Marketing, Product Management and Strategic Planning
for Fisher-Price toys. She was the company's leading change agent assigned
to several new business start-ups and several turnaround situations. While
there she launched over 1000 new products and four new divisions including
a joint venture with Microsoft. She authored the company’s first web
strategy and launched its highly successful ecommerce division.
After leaving Fisher-Price, Ms. Wilson became CEO of Surveyor Corporation,
a leading provider of web camera software and services. She transitioned
the company from a "think tank" to a viable commercial organization,
launching several products for both the consumer and business to business
marketplaces. Marilyn is now a
founding partner in the WAV Group, a leading real estate consulting firm.
Her company’s core goal is to help companies grow quickly and
cost-effectively. She brings her depth of experience with strategic
planning, marketing, product development and management to the real estate
industry by helping MLSs and technology vendors take their organizations
to new levels. The company performs consumer and REALTOR research,
strategic planning, management and leadership consulting and technology
evaluations. Marilyn is a graduate
of Cornell University. She serves on President’s Council of Cornell Women,
WITI (Women in Technology International), and is a contributor to the
best-selling management book called At The Helm.
