MLS — What’s Next?: Matt Cohen

Matt Cohen has over a decade of experience in MLS and real estate association practices and technology and has been with Clareity Consulting since 1996. As a part of Clareity, Matt has consulted for most of the top regional MLSs, associations, MLS software vendors, large brokers and a wide variety of other companies that service the real estate industry.

Matt has experience in strategic planning, market research, survey development, staff assessments and recruiting, technology department creation and management, application design, graphics production, technical support and documentation, along with user group creation and management. Matt has spoken at many conferences, workshops and leadership retreats around the country.

This discussion about what the MLS of today needs to look like and act like will begin with a session led by Matt Cohen of Clareity Consulting, who believes that the re-definition of MLS and a re-missioning is essential to the continued relevance of MLS organizations as we know them. Included in Matt’s session will be:

  1. Bud Fogel, CEO of Chicago-based Midwest Real Estate Data a broker run MLS resulting from the merger of MAPMLS and MLSNI earlier this year

  2. Michel Beausejour, CEO of the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board and the Quebec Federation of Realtors
