Michel Beauséjour
As Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Montréal Real Estate Board
and the
Québec
Federation of Real Estate Boards, Michel Beauséjour
efficiently manages the Québec real estate industry much like a music
conductor directs his band. There are no bad notes in his diversified
track record! He has over 20 years of experience in financial and EDP
auditing and as well, in providing consulting services in the field of
Information Technology and Strategic Planning for businesses.
Like a guitarist striking his very first musical chords,
Michel studied at the École des hautes études commerciales, where he
obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration.
Before orchestrating the
real estate industry in Québec starting in 1999, Michel was a
partner in the accounting firm KPMG and was responsible for the
Information Technology Practice in Québec. Between 1978 and 1986, he
was also a managing partner in his own CA firm.
A genuine one-man band,
Michel is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow and Life Member of the
Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec which he also chaired
1997-1999, and was a Governor and executive member of the Canadian
Institute of Chartered Accountants.
As a guest speaker, Michel is like a Stradivarius among violins. His
knowledge is in demand and he is willing to share it. Michel has given
numerous courses, seminars, presentations and has authored various
articles for Canadian publications. Issues relating to information
technology, strategies for implementing new financial information and
management systems, as well as the application of new technologies in the
workplace are some of the subjects Michel has broached during his career. |
